Q. What is my Workforce user id?
A. Access Workforce with your SDSUid credentials. Information on claiming your SDSUid account or resetting your password is available at https://it.sdsu.edu/sdsuid.
Q. When are timesheets due?
A. Please see Pay Dates and Deadlines. Employees and supervisors who do not accurately complete, certify and approve timesheets within deadlines are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or termination of employment.

Q. I have a new hire. How do I get them in Workforce?
A. All new hires are automatically added to Workforce when they have completed onboarding processes and will receive a “Welcome to Workforce” email after their first day of employment.
Q. My new hire is not in Workforce. What should I do?
A. If your new hire is not on Workforce, please contact the HR Trans team for your employee's status.
Q. Do I need to submit a timesheet if I didn’t work any hours?
A. Yes, you must submit a time report each pay period certifying time worked, even if it is zero hours, to ensure you are paid accurately.
Q. When should I enter hours on my time sheet?
A. Time and attendance should be entered daily. You must enter time accurately and should not pre-populate your timesheet.
Q. I submitted my time report by mistake; how can I correct the hours?
A. If your supervisor has not approved the timesheet, you can click on the "Recall" button, make needed adjustments and once done, click the "save" button then the "submit" button to submit the revised timesheet. If your supervisor has already approved the timesheet, you will need to have your supervisor remove the approval before you can make changes or corrections.
Q. I'm a supervisor ready to approve the time reports but don't see any waiting for my approval?
A. Please check with Human Resources for verification of supervisor/employee status.
