Finance & Accounting
The Finance & Accounting department is responsible for the budgeting, accounting and financial affairs of SDSU Research Foundation. These responsibilities include:
- Management of cash and investments
- Merchant card services and PCI compliance
- Sponsor invoicing and financial reporting
- Collection of accounts receivable
- Equipment inventory
- Administration of endowments and gifts
- External audits and financial reviews
- Annual corporate budget
- Tax compliance
- Wire transfers
- Bank reconciliations, stale dated checks, and escheatment
- Facilities and Administrative Rate calculation and negotiation
- Information Systems
- Human Resources
- Cashiering and other banking services
The Finance & Accounting department also works closely with the Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Payroll departments.
