The Finance & Accounting department is responsible for the budgeting, accounting and financial affairs of SDSU Research Foundation. These responsibilities include:

• Management of cash and investments
• Merchant card services and PCI compliance
• Sponsor invoicing and financial reporting
• Collection of accounts receivable
• Equipment inventory
• Administration of endowments and gifts
• External audits and financial reviews
• Annual corporate budget
• Tax compliance
• Wire transfers
• Bank reconciliations, stale dated checks, and escheatment
• Facilities and Administrative Rate calculation and negotiation
• Information Systems
• Human Resources
• Cashiering and other banking services

The Finance & Accounting department also works closely with the Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Payroll departments.
