What happens when I receive an award?

The award preparation and activation process begins when an official award document is received from a sponsoring agency. The contracting and compliance department reviews the document, terms and conditions, and consults with the PI, Sponsored Research Development, Sponsored Research Administration, and as needed, other offices involved in policy and regulatory matters.
