E-Mail & Calendar - SDSU Google
All active SDSU Research Foundation employees are eligible for an e-mail account in the Campus Google system. As part of the employee onboarding process, an account will be requested in your name. The day after you have completed your new hire paperwork, you will receive an email from the SDSU ITUS helpdesk with a registration code to claim your account and detailed instructions on setting up a password and security questions. If you are a current or former SDSU student and already have an account you will be issued a different “work” e-email address so that you can easily manage personal and business communications. Additional information about SDSU Google services is available at https://it.sdsu.edu/help/google.
Once your account is active, you can login to the main Google mail interface at https://mail.google.com. Make sure to login with your full e-mail address and SDSUid password.
If you have any questions, please contact the Research Foundation Service Desk at 619-594-6931 or SDSURF Service Desk to submit a request through ServiceNow.
NOTE: your new hire paperwork must be processed in SDSURF Human Resources before receiving an account. SDSURF Human Resources can be found on the 4th Floor of the Gateway building on SDSU campus. Human Resources can also be reached at 619-594-4139.
SDSUid
All new employees are automatically provided an SDSUid. After Human Resources has processed your new paperwork, you will receive an e-mail with a registration code and instructions on how to claim your account. SDSUid is your single identifier to securely access new campus IT services and can eventually become your single identifier to access all IT services, workstations/devices, and labs at SDSU. Password management is self-service and recoverable through a variety of options, all selected and managed by you. More information about SDSUid including how to manage your account and services available is available at http://it.sdsu.edu/sdsuid/.
