Performance Reports
SDSU Research Foundation employees should be evaluated annually by their supervisors. The supervisor or PI and employee have an opportunity to review areas of strengths and improvements and expectations for the coming year. The PI or supervisor and employee should discuss and sign the performance report and the employee should receive a copy before the report becomes a part of the employee's record. Special performance reports may be initiated by the supervisor or requested by the employee at any time. A guide to conducting a performance evaluation is available on the human resources website at HR forms.
When an employee reaches their anniversary of their first day of employment, the supervisor should take this opportunity to review performance and when appropriate, recommend a merit increase.
