Vision Care:

A quick walk across Hardy Avenue from the Gateway Center will get you to Student Health Services’ Optometry Clinic where you can receive all your visual care needs. Services available include vision exams, contact lens fittings and filling eyeglass prescriptions. If you are enrolled in a SDSURF health plan, Student Health Services is not a Vision Service Plan (VSP) provider, but is considered an out-of-network provider. You may use their services, but you’ll need to pay for the costs upfront, and then submit a claim to VSP for reimbursement.

Over-The- Counter Health Supplies:

Stock up on your supply of cough and cold medicines, or other kinds of over-the-counter items by purchasing these items at the Student Health Services Pharmacy located in the Capulli Center on Hardy Avenue.

Many of their items meet and beat the prices of Wal-Mart and other big names in the industry. And it’s so convenient to stop by on your lunch break or before leaving work for the day.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Thursday – 9:30 am to 4:30 pm
